Privacy Policy
We collect what we need to sell you the class, let you in and measure our ads. We never sell your data for money.
What we collect
When you buy: your first name, your email and your order. If you buy a gift, also the recipient’s first name and your message for the gift card. When you use the class: which lessons you have finished, so the class remembers where you are. Card details go straight to our payment provider. We never see or store your card number.
Why
To take your payment, give you access to the class, email you your login link and gift cards, answer your questions and handle refunds. And, unless you opt out, to measure which of our Facebook and Instagram ads bring visitors to the class.
Who helps us
We use a few services to run the shop and the class: our checkout and payment provider (systeme.io with Stripe), our email provider (Resend), Meta for ad measurement (see below), Google Fonts for the typefaces on our pages (your browser loads them from Google) and our own server, which hosts the class and its videos. They process your data only to provide their service to us.
Cookies and advertising
The class uses one cookie to keep you signed in, and the site uses one more to remember your privacy choice (the visit counting below adds one technical cookie). On the sales page and checkout we use the Meta Pixel and Meta’s Conversions API to measure our Facebook and Instagram ads. They share with Meta which page you viewed or which checkout you opened, your IP address, your browser type and Meta’s own cookie or ad-click identifiers. After you buy, our server tells Meta about the purchase (the product and the amount) along with a scrambled (hashed) copy of your email, name and country, so we can see which ads lead to sales. We don’t do this for buyers in the EU, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, the UK or Switzerland.
Some US state laws call this kind of ad measurement “sharing”. You can opt out of it, as described below.
Separately, whatever you choose above, we count our own visits to the sales page in totals only: how many people came and from where (for example a Facebook or Instagram ad, or a search engine), which version of the headline they saw, how many clicked through to the checkout, and how the cookie banner was answered. We never store this with a person or a device, and nothing from it goes to Meta or anyone else. So that you keep seeing the same headline and are not counted twice, the site stores a technical cookie, tb_ab_home, with a random number and the letter of your version (kept for 90 days). Our team’s own browsers carry one more, tb_internal, so we don’t count ourselves. To object to this counting, email help@terezablooms.com.
You can change your choice at any time with the “Your privacy choices” or “Cookie settings” button at the bottom of the sales page or the checkout. In the US, measuring is on until you opt out. In the EU, UK and Switzerland, it is off until you agree. Where your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as an opt-out.
How long we keep it
As long as you have the class, and afterwards as long as the law requires us to keep order records.
Your choices
You can ask us to see, correct or delete your data at any time. Email help@terezablooms.com and we’ll reply within a few days. Deleting your data ends your access to the class.
